Most of the cherry trees were finished blooming (although they are actually ornamental crabapple trees), but there was one surprise tree at Hawrelak Park that had just blossomed!  And, if I can remember, there were no mosquitoes!  It was like a photography jackpot. I love the diversity of Hawrelak Park, so many options and different looks for photographs.  Preeti welcomed an adorable little boy in early summer. I will share those photos from his Edmonton newborn session soon!  And check the Before &amp; After edit at the end of the post. There was an ugly utility box right where the beautiful tree was. I had to take it out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also if you are into Geocaching, or looking to try it,  Hawrelak Park is a great spot to start. There are a lot of geocaches hidden on the trails and inside the park boundaries. It&#8217;s such a fun activity to do with your kids. We keep a trinket filled ziplock bag in the car in case we are out and decide to do some spontaneous geocaching.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped\"><li
