This beautiful session with my friend Katie and her adorable son was so fun. It was photographed in the most magical place in Edmonton that unfortunately, was plowed under last year to make way for more houses in south Edmonton. I was quite devastated. But I am forever grateful that we both were able to use it for photos.
But there are still so many beautiful locations in Edmonton that can be used. Contact me today to book your family’s summer photography session!
Spring in Edmonton, over the last few years, has been extremely windy. 2020 has been no different. It’s sad because the crab apple tree blossoms (or cherry blossoms as most people call them) blow off the trees after only a short few days. The morning of my maternity photography session with Salem was cold and the wind gusting to 50km/h. Not ideal for photos. As I was prepping to leave a storm starting rolling through. Double not ideal for photos! However, as I drove to the location in the Edmonton river valley, the clouds moved off and the sun came out. It was an absolutely beautiful evening! Salem was joined by her beautiful children, her sister and her parents. Please enjoy these maternity photos at one of Edmonton’s hidden gems for blossoms!
These two little babies were so sweet! They snuggled together and were so content. We even got to do a sibling photo with their dog. I don’t know how many times I passed Cohen & Elliot back and forth between mom/dad and their bassinets during our session yesterday. They hardly moved. Especially Cohen. And dad said he was the squirmy one. What an amazing brother and sister duo photograph!
With all my Edmonton cake smash photography sessions, I always offer the option to add complimentary family photos. Many people have their first family photos when their baby is a newborn, so this is a perfect time for an update! Depending on the season, the family photos can be done inside the studio or outdoors at one of Edmonton’s beautiful parks. I met up with Aiden’s family at Larch Sanctuary before going back to my Edmonton cake smash studio, where Aiden stole the show. He loved his cake and did a bang-up job of smashing it.
I would love to celebrate your child’s first birthday! Contact me for package pricing and more information.
Despite the twinkle in her eyes, she wasn’t too thrilled about her cake. You want me to smash what?? Don’t think so lady.
This cute family of 3 will soon be a family of 5! The math is correct. They will be welcoming twin boys soon. Here is a quick peek into the outdoor portion of our maternity session from the weekend.
Aria has the sweetest little face! She was such a joy to photograph this weekend.
Hudson and I eat cake the same way. Both hands….shoving it in. It’s not as cute when I do it. I loved this cake smash photo session at my Edmonton photography studio. Hudson was so fun and ALL IN! He was pure joy. Or was is a sugar high?
Book your child’s cake smash (or food smash, doesn’t have to be cake) here.
With so much uncertainty in our lives right now, I wanted to join in with #TheFrontPorchProject that celebrates family togetherness…from a distance. During the month of April, I will photograph your family in front of your home, while respecting social distancing parameters. After your quick 5 minute session, I will email you the digital file of your family portrait. These sessions are $40 and a portion will be donated to Edmonton animal rescue organizations that are struggling with the shutdowns.
To pay with credit card, click on this link and follow the instructions. For Etransfer payment, send the $40 (plus $2 GST) directly to email@example.com and I will confirm the booking for you.
These two are the cutest little boys! I was glad they came to my Edmonton photography studio for photos together.
