This was a first for me — an Adult Cake Smash photoshoot in Edmonton! I am used to working with kids turning 1. Stacey wanted to celebrate her 35th birthday with cake, champagne, a tutu and the more gorgeous sparkly Christian Louboutin shoes! It was so much fun! Tip: get a bunch of your girlfriends together to watch and cheer you on.

With all my Edmonton cake smash photography sessions, I always offer the option to add complimentary family photos. Many people have their first family photos when their baby is a newborn, so this is a perfect time for an update! Depending on the season, the family photos can be done inside the studio or outdoors at one of Edmonton’s beautiful parks. I met up with Aiden’s family at Larch Sanctuary before going back to my Edmonton cake smash studio, where Aiden stole the show. He loved his cake and did a bang-up job of smashing it.
I would love to celebrate your child’s first birthday! Contact me for package pricing and more information.
Despite the twinkle in her eyes, she wasn’t too thrilled about her cake. You want me to smash what?? Don’t think so lady.
Hudson and I eat cake the same way. Both hands….shoving it in. It’s not as cute when I do it. I loved this cake smash photo session at my Edmonton photography studio. Hudson was so fun and ALL IN! He was pure joy. Or was is a sugar high?

l Happy 1st birthday to Wyatt! He enjoyed our time outside but wasn’t as thrilled about his cake smash.
Never was there a more happy cake smasher than Arabella! She went full into that cake with smiles and giggles. Turning one is so much fun.
Book your Edmonton Cake Smash session by clicking here! This is such a fun way to celebrate your baby’s birthday. But it also doesn’t have to be for one-year-olds. A cake smash photography session can be booked for any age.
After a year of photos, Alexis got to celebrate with family photos at Larch Sanctuary and a pink and grey themed cake smash! I love the colour scheme. Pink and grey are so chic together. Alexis wasn’t a huge fan of the cake, but she sure loved feeding her brother. And he loved being able to taste the cake as well.
