This Edmonton newborn session was kinda funny! Every baby has his or her quirks that sometimes come out during photos. For Elizabeth, it was flashing me the middle finger repeatedly. Dad said next time it happened to photograph it! So funny!

Baby Jack is here! He is the cutest little man born to Amanda and her family. It was an Edmonton newborn photography session that had some scary moments. Following the family portion, mom had to be taken to the hospital after some post-pregnancy complications appeared. She is fine, thankfully! Dad stayed with me, a sleeping Jack and a soother to finish the newborn portion. Jack was amazing! We had no milk or formula to feed him, so I photographed what I could. But he stayed asleep! After the photos were done, dad rushed to the hospital to be with mom and so Jack could be fed! An amazing story.

You know you will have a good newborn photoshoot when the baby can sleep while her big brother is pretending to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex. He was a funny little guy! It was a great session with this Edmonton family!

I was so excited to hear that Amanda was expecting again! I photographed her first baby a few years ago and she’s grown up to be such a little cutie. We did a combination of indoor studio maternity photos and then took a quick trip to the Lois Hole Centennial Park. Have to take advantage of Spring in Edmonton when there are no mosquitoes!

Starting off with teeny tiny newborn baby toes! I usually end my Edmonton newborn photography sessions with this photo. They only curl like this for a short amount of time! Baby Elijah is the last baby but the first boy for this beautiful family! His sisters adore him.

I got to photograph the prettiest little newborn girl! I love using green with baby girls during sessions at my west Edmonton newborn photography studio.

Sometimes newborn photos just don’t happen. Maybe the baby has an extended stay in hospital or maybe it was just too overwhelming to get something booked. Whatever the case, know that you can always get beautiful photos of your Edmonton baby at any age. Baby Lewis was 3 months old when I met him.
